The top variant of Realme 2 Pro is the first phone to come up with 8 GB RAM in this price range. Other specifications include Bluetooth 5, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 AC, USB-OTG, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, compass and accelerometer. There is no FM radio or NFC support.
Realme 2 Pro runs on Android OS 8.1 based on ColorOs 5.2. The security patches of the month of September were also present in the phone. The latest version of ColorOs also has a two-step process to dismiss the notification, which bothers. Apart from this the OS is quite polished and the user has many customization options with gestures. Our review unit was the Vietnamese model. There were several Vietnamese apps already installed in it. There will be no app in the retail unit sold in India, but no other app will be present or not, nothing can be said about this.
